I attended York's Schulich School of Business for Business Management and Administration, however, I found the world of B2B sales more interesting and ultimately left to pursue a career in the facilities maintenance industry. During that time, I was promoted to Account Manager within 6 months, and was responsible for 3 territories as well as several enterprise accounts.

Being responsible for 3 territories took a toll on me and I eventually quit to move to Berlin, then the Asia-Pacific region where I continued working in sales for an import-export company based out of Ho Chi Minh City. This position offered me the chance to travel and explore much of Asia.

In early 2020 when the pandemic happened, I finally returned to Canada and since then I've focused on funding solutions, specializing in the SMB space. Most of my mortgage clients are self-employed business owners, a lot of whom were pulling equity out of their home to fund their business. It made sense to add business financing options for my clients, as it allows them to have one point of contact for all their funding and an unbiased viewpoint on which option will give them access to the funds they need, at the lowest rates available to them - taking into account tax exposure, their business sales cycle, and their plans for the future.
